Banshee Bungee came to me to make this video for them. The idea is to show that the acceleration rate of a 20ft banshee bungee at full stretch is equal to (in some cases greater than) that of the acceleration of a high performance car taking off attempting a 0-60 run.

I’ve totally neglected to post anything on here all summer, it was a busy one. But hey, now that I’m once again unemployed and am in update mode, Maybe I can keep things up to date here.

I finally got a roll of velvia developed. Took all summer to finish shooting it, which made it fun going back and scrolling thru photos that I barely remember taking. click through for the whole album.

I’ve started to write a column for my friend Tad’s site wesubsist called Made In Canada. It’s all about the things I make, the plan is to make one thing per month.

As far as videos and things go, I had a busy summer shooting wake stuff again, nothing of myself for a change tho, here are a few videos I made this summer.

Right now, I’m in the search for a song for my demo reel, hopefully I’ll find it soon. Also, I should have a video up I did for Banshee bungee, so c’mon back now ya’hear!

This is the very first bit of footage I shot with my canon T2i.

I flew to california on a Thursday, the camera had only just come out on the Wednesday and I got the last one at Sammy’s in LA on the Friday. and everything was shot after that.

Shot in Corona, Huntington Beach, Carlsbad, Hollywood and Sand Diego.

And again, a bit too long since I’ve last posted, needles to say life has been slow, and the job hunting is getting ridiculous.

Anywho, here is an edit I put together from shooting with Mike Maynard and friends out at his wakeboard school in Hastings, ON.

The title sums this post up. I’ve only had words with the man over IM, but I am absolutely astonished by his work. Charles is not only a huge inspiration to me, he’s probably the most creative person I’ve ever had the privelidge of knowing.

Oh yea, and his projection collections are blowing up right now too! This is probably the hundredth blog to post about these incredible visuals.

Summer came early this year, I’ve been at the Peterborough skatepark almost every day shooting with all the punks there. here are a few videos from recently.

This is Yokohi (Coy) Calver, we shot this in about 2 weeks and it actually won a contest with his clothing sponsor, HighFly Clothing

Here is a quick rough cut for another punk, Josh Hook, this was jsut a quick video I threw together for a ‘sponsor me tape’ sorta thing, now Josh is also on HighFly. Congrats guys!!

Was scrolling thru the archives (a.k.a iphoto) and came across this gem, I think I took this about 2 years ago, it was on the same roll as a shot of my dad in the hospital when he got his knee replaced.

Chemong Lake, January 2008

It may look like a piece of shit photo to you but I think it’s great! the grain is really dominant since i was shooting into the sun and it got over exposed, but the subject is kind of a mystery. Sure it’s just a boring frozen lake with some snow, but look closer, you seen some morning fog creeping down off the hills and a few footprints from a little animal or something… anyways I’m ranting, you, he reader might not like this photo but it is awesome to me.
